KUGLER MAAG CIE is supporting the SAE Motor Vehicle Council. The contribution is used for administrative and travel costs as well as national and internaitonal fees associated with successful technical committee meetings held within the U.S. and abroad.
The sponsorship of the SAE contributes in the following areas of the SAE standard development process:
- Uniform testing and practices to create "one test, one time, accepted everywhere" criteria
- Efficoient use of engineering resources and benchmarking tools globally
- Level playing field for OEMs and suppliers
The support makes it possible that SAE Standards can be developed according to automotive industry interests like hybrids & fuel cells, on-board diagnostics, tow vehicle requirements and safety issues.
