CMMI® for Development – Introduction course (SEI-authorized)

This three-day course CMMI® for Development (CMMI-DEV) will give you a general introduction to the CMMI model and its basic concepts. You will thereby get to know the individual process areas and maturity/capability levels of the CMMI®. We will also introduce you to the structure of the model which allows organizations to evaluate (appraise) the capability of their system and software processes. These appraisals then serve as a basis for project-specific and organization-wide process improvements. - This introductory course CMMI® for Development Version 1.3 is licensed by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI).

Course contents CMMI® for Development Version 1.3

• The importance of systematic processes
• Potentials of process improvements
• Architecture of the CMMI-DEV model (e.g. maturity/capability levels, process areas, goals, specific and generic practices)
• Structure of a staged and continuous representation
• Principles of the CMMI model for system and software development in organizations
• Sufficient understanding of the CMMI® model to be an active member of a CMMI® appraisal team

• Course fee €1490 excl. of VAT and SEI registration. If two or more people from the same company register together, we grant a 20% discount from the second participant onwards.

• Knowledge of software, hardware, or system engineering is helpful, but not absolutely necessary
