Here you will learn to integrate the ISO 26262 standard together with Automotive SPICE® in the development process. Course contents Automotive SPICE® and Functional Safety (ISO 26262)
- Knowledge of the work of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (Verband der Automobilindustrie, VDA) and the improvement activities of the European OEMs and tier-1 suppliers
- Basic understanding of the structure, contents, and life cycle of Automotive SPICE® and ISO 26262
- Overview of the relationship between capability maturity models and functional safety standards
- Concept to assess functional safety and Automotive SPICE®
- Knowledge of managerial responsibilities, liabilities, and risks involved in the development of safety-related systems
- Indicators for investment needs, improvement efforts, and the performance measurement of a capable development environment
This training course is designed for managers and engineers on all levels, whose area of responsibility includes the development of safety-related electronic and software systems. Knowledge of system and software engineering would be helpful, but is not necessary.
