Working Party 13 within the Automotive Association - VDA AK13 - has the task to define the requirements for conducting and accepting Process Assessments for development of software-determined systems in the Automotive Industry.

The new standard for Process Assessments will build on the reliable source Automotive SPICE™ and consider assessment results of other standards, like CMMI®.

Members of the VDA AK13 are the OEM and Supplier BMW, Bosch, Conti Temic, DaimlerChrysler, Ford, Knorr Bremse, Siemens VDO, Volkswagen, and ZF. KUGLER MAAG CIE supports actively the work of the AK13 as the only non-member.
