Jörg Fischer and Frank Sazama present their experiences on the in-depth introduction and implementation of agile development processes: This change project within the product development includes all challenges regarding scalable development with distributed teams.
More than 80 of 200 employees now work together in six agile teams consisting of 10 to 15 members, mostly at different locations in Western and Eastern Europe as well as in India.

At the end of the organizational re-structuring two customer-specific projects for applications were set up with each one software project manager and a scalable team-structure. This new structure allows the teams to work together in synchronized and coordinated sprints. The presentation illustrates the core aspects of this scalable concept.
